We make our own style of furniture using a blend of cabinet making methods and modern furniture techniques, influenced by vernacular country furniture, Arts & Crafts, Shaker and Bauhaus. Keeping the construction simple and exposing it as an integral part of the design, allowing the character and beauty of the wood to speak for itself.
The designs are largely made from English and European hardwoods mainly oak, ash, elm, cherry and maple, occasionally incorporating glass features. Recent commissions have included counters for the National Trust, an altar for Truro Cathedral and several tables, chairs and stools for a café at the Eden Project.
Please call in at the farm to see the furniture on display at the Bull Pen Gallery, or discuss Commissions in the workshop.
